Volunteers is a new, uk-wide initiative to encourage more 16-24 year
olds to volunteer their time for the benefit of others. We will promote
Millennium Volunteers around the idea of young people gaining an 'MV
for your CV'. The Approach is rooted in the concept of young people
determining what they want to do in the places they live. The strapline
for Millennium Volunteers. 'build what you're into', is designed to
empower young people to undertake activity on local issues which they
really care about using their skills and interests as a starting point.
